My name is Nick and I’m a dual Australian-Canadian citizen living and working as a photographer in The Canadian Rockies. I am also a professional guide and enjoy every moment I get exploring with guests to this amazingly beautiful part of the world.
Why do you travel and photograph your journeys?
These two things go hand in hand for me. It started out as simply capturing the memories and evolved into trying to showcase those same places at their best, using creativity, light and spontaneity to guide the types of photographs I come away with on my travels.

Mountainous environments!
What’s your go-to travel hack?
Travel light. Less is more when backpacking with camera gear! A carbon fibre travel tripod and 2 lenses covering a variety of focal lengths.
Got any gear you can’t travel without?
A compressible down jacket.
What destination are you eager to go back to?
Patagonia
How do you stay safe when you’re travelling?
Ensure somebody knows where I will be, and carry an Inreach satellite emergency device.
