Tips
You’ll need to be able to make international phone calls from either a mobile phone or landline.
Is your mobile roaming turned on? You should be able to call Australia without any hassles.
Local sim? If you’re calling from a sim local to the country you’re travelling in, your plan may not allow international calls. Try to upgrade the plan if possible.
Skype can be used to make phone calls to landlines and mobiles. Load credit to your skype account, then use the dialpad to place a call.
