My name is Catalin Ene and my main hobby is photography. I have practiced photography for already 10 years when I bought my first camera by “mistake”. I say by mistake as at that time, my girlfriend (my wife now) wanted to do an upgrade from his photo bridge camera to a Canon DSLR, with the money she got from her mother. She spent all the money intended to be used for the new DSLR and couldn’t buy anything. But, the camera had to be bought, and what to do next? So I decided to buy a DSLR camera with my money and the choice at that time was a Nikon D5100. After that, I started to experience different types of photography in areas such as portrait, landscape, and even newborn or wedding photography. I began to focus more on landscape photography about 2 years ago when I felt that I had to change something. I felt that my landscape photos did not have very good quality and did not tell something, a story to a viewer. I started to study more in this area for example photography composition, how to edit landscape photos and what are the core rules in order to obtain a high-quality photo. In terms of traveling, I started to visit new places in Romania or across borders. I went hiking or I stayed in a tent. I knew that if you want to capture beautiful moments at sunset or sunrise, you have to be there at the right time, in nature. I found out that nature is my inspiration and it is amazing when you are at sunset or sunrise in amazing locations. We have a beautiful planet and we have to love it and take care of it.

The first would be the camera and the second my tripod. Of course there may be a bottle of water, required clothes, sunglasses , but the photography is the main reason I like to travel.
