I am a geography teacher in Switzerland who loves travelling, discovering new places, and taking photos.
Why do you travel and photograph your journeys?
Because I love discovering new places and sharing my adventures with friends from all around the globe
What is your favourite thing or item to photograph?
Landscapes, mountains, and city life.
What’s your go-to travel hack?
Use really good covers, backpacks, and bags: after spending 3-4k $ on gears is pretty stupid to spend 1-2 $ to “protect” them.
Got any gear you can’t travel without?
My phone, where I store all my information and use it as main camera.
What destination are you eager to go back to?
Scotland and Denmark.
How do you stay safe when you’re travelling?
Planning my trip in advance: study the weather, the laws, the health system. Checking the current news and making sure to have proper insurance covering the possible problems.
What’s the best way to experience a destination like a local one?
Wander around the streets without looking for a specific destination, avoid the most advertised restaurants and pubs but go for the little ones located in the side alley. Find local artisans to visit and don’t be afraid to ask locals!
What’s your favourite word in another language?
Vacilar, is a Spanish word that means ” to travel just for the love of it and not for the destination”.
When and where are you next travelling?
I’m going to travel to Chamonix and Mont Blanc.
