Travelled to 94 countries and counting. Always try to follow the sun and warmth, but winter can be beautiful too. After living in many places, I now speak five languages and hope to learn more.
Why do you travel and photograph your journeys?
I love the sun ☀️ (and scuba diving.) That keeps me moving. All of my pictures are just a side product of this.
What is your favourite thing or item to photograph?
Sun, sunrises and sunsets. Always something magical about it.
What’s your go-to travel hack?
Get local currency once in place. Often the exchange rates are much better.
Got any gear you can’t travel without?
My Swiss Army knife. It’s one of the fancier ones that has wider range of tools and gadgets.
What destination are you eager to go back to?
Hawaii
How do you stay safe when you’re travelling?
With smiles and jokes. People react positively when you are positive.
What’s the best way to experience a destination like a local one?
Rent a house and live like locals. Get to know at least one person that’s not a waiter or host.
What’s your favourite word in another language?
Japanese word – Shouganai. It roughly translates to “It needs to be accepted”
